三国时期，有一位名叫刘备的将军，一心想要为百姓带来太平安定的日子。
他听说，在一间简陋的茅草屋里，住着一位非常有智慧的人，名叫诸葛亮。刘备下定决心，一定要请诸葛亮出山，帮助自己。
第一次，刘备兴冲冲地来到茅庐前，敲了敲门——诸葛亮正好出门去了，扑了个空。
刘备并不灰心，过了些日子，他又冒着风雪，第二次来到茅庐——诸葛亮还是不在家。
刘备手下的将士们都有些不耐烦了："将军身份这么尊贵，何必一而再、再而三地跑一趟茅庐呢？"
可刘备还是坚持要去。第三次，他终于到了茅庐前——诸葛亮正在屋里睡午觉呢。
刘备没有让人叫醒他，而是静静地站在门外，一直耐心地等着，直到诸葛亮自己睡醒。
诸葛亮被刘备这份真诚和耐心深深打动了，终于答应出山，辅佐刘备。后来，诸葛亮成了中国历史上最有智慧的谋士之一。

During the Three Kingdoms period, there was a general named Liu Bei who wanted more than anything to bring peace back to a troubled land.
He heard about a brilliant, wise man named Zhuge Liang, who lived quietly in a simple thatched cottage. Liu Bei decided he must ask Zhuge Liang to become his advisor.
The first time, Liu Bei arrived eagerly at the cottage and knocked — but Zhuge Liang happened to be out, and no one answered.
Liu Bei wasn't discouraged. Some days later, braving wind and snow, he made a second visit — but Zhuge Liang was still away.
Liu Bei's own soldiers began to grumble: "You're an important general — why keep making this journey again and again?"
But Liu Bei insisted on trying once more. On his third visit, he finally reached the cottage — only to find Zhuge Liang taking an afternoon nap inside.
Rather than have him woken, Liu Bei stood quietly outside the door and waited, patiently and respectfully, until Zhuge Liang woke up on his own.
Moved by such sincerity and patience, Zhuge Liang finally agreed to leave his cottage and help Liu Bei. He went on to become one of the wisest strategists in all of Chinese history.
Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage is about the power of sincerity and patience — Liu Bei didn't give up after being turned away twice, and his respectful persistence earned him the trust of someone truly extraordinary.
